Software engineering beyond the application boundary

I began in backend engineering, building Go services, APIs, and distributed systems. That work led naturally toward the systems surrounding application delivery.

Engineering trajectory

My professional background includes senior software engineering, backend team leadership, and project team leadership. I now apply the same habits used in application development—versioning, testing, review, automation, and observable behavior—to CI/CD, containers, Kubernetes, infrastructure, and security controls.

Current direction

My focus is platform engineering, DevSecOps, cloud security, and security automation. This portfolio documents that progression through designs and labs, clearly distinguishing established backend experience from capabilities still being developed.
